One of Malka’s (and our’s) dear friends was JUST (as in moments ago) accepted as the FIRST openly gay Cantorial Student at JTS (Jewish Theological Seminary)
She has a BEAUTIFUL voice, she has

wow. That is wonderful news. What amazing role models (in addition to her Mommies) for Malka!
I know this is not the point, but that word…kvelling…it reminds me of the lesbian comedienne Suzanne Westenhoefer, who once had to say it in some show she was in, and since she’s not Jewish, she pronounced it “kev-el-ling.” Heh.
