Wanna know more?

Guess it’s time to give you some more info….

Let’s see – here’s the 2 minutes or less version, as I’m at work, and well, I should be working right now.

Narda and I met in 2000, yes, at a Stage Managers’ event.  We were both younger, thinner, and smokers.  A few years later, we figured it was time to buy real estate and create a family.  I quit smoking (hardest thing I’ve EVER EVER EVER done in my life!), and we started trying with ye olde donor sperm, aka, “man in a can,” etc.  We tried for 16 cycles with my uterus.  Narda’s uterus wasn’t on the negotiating table, so it was me or bust.  I guess I’m busted.  We chose to move towards adoption instead of IVF, and even though it was a painful process, (over 9 “situations,”) our cheeky is the result.  Malka was born on December 17th, 2005, we received the call about her on January 27th, 2006, met her birthmom, “V,” on February 2nd, 2006, and we brought Malka home on February 16th, 2006.  The happiest day of our lives thus far.

We’re in the process towards #2, and will keep you posted.

I’ll write more when I have some time, and maybe even add some pictures, too.  Thanks for stopping by.  Grab a nice cuppa, and have a seat, I like to talk.

  1. Hi I was wondering if you would be interested in doing a review of my coffee. My boyfriend and I started an online coffee/tea shop called Get The Bean (www.getthebean.com) we sell lots of coffee, tea, chai and more. We also do charity work to fight cancer.

I would love to send you some coffee for you to review. If you would be interested please let me know.
